Sitting up at No. 3 in the Nation, Florida men’s basketball brings aboard freshman Chris Walker after an NCAA suspension.
The time table was uncertain for when Walker would be eligible but it was announced on Wednesday that the 6’10, 220 lb forward will be allowed to take the court on Tuesday as the Gators host Missouri.
Walker’s suspension lasted 12 games due to the violation of NCAA rules. The report let out by the NCAA said Walker received preferential treatment from five people including two agents. In order to claim eligibility, Walker is required to pay back the $270 he received and do 80 hours of community service.
The question now is whether or not Walker will have an impact on this dominating Florida team.
